ttv advances it's quality management system and earns certification according to the latest standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.
 

ttv invests into the expansion of its production technology and capacity by installing a laser cutting and engraving system for plastics, adhesive film, wood, cardboard, paper … and introduces 4 axes precision machining.

„OptiProtect“ is registered as ttv’s trademark for protection films.

October 2006

ttv introduces „OptiProtect“, a newly developed type of protection films for display windows and other sensitive surfaces, a protection against scratches, staining, and shattering.

ttv moves into its own property, the newly built production facility and office building at Sudetenstrasse 53 (see picture on top of page).

Manfred Tupaj sells tkt and buys property in Geretsried. ttv abandons the premises shared with tkt, relocates to the acquired building, and rents extra office and storage space. Manufacturing capacity is considerably expanded.

ttv develops a production process for forming optical filters, particularly for CRTs.

ttv offers engineering and design of customized cabinets and technical parts in plastic (SFP technology and injection molding) as well as metal.

ttv pioneers the use of vertical machining centers for machining of plastics in Europe and produces CNC controlled high precision display filters, CRT bezels, plastic cabinets, and a variety of technical plastic and metal parts.

Manfred Tupaj takes over the manufacturer of thermoplastic cabinets and continues the business as tkt tupaj-kunststoff-technik gmbh; he moves the company domiciles of tkt and ttv to Geretsried.

ttv develops, manufactures, and markets a digital impulse counter under the brand of „Countmaster“.

ttv enhances its production and sales program with display filters in acrylic, polycabonate, polyester, and glass.

ttv develops, manufactures, and very successfully markets „Logic Scope“, a handheld meter for all common logic circuits.

ttv produces standard CRT bezels for mounting CRTs into front panels using SFP.
This product line soon covers every CRT available simplifying flawless installation of CRTs into flat front panels. ttv successfully markets the bezels worldwide.

April 1974

The first thermoplastic cabinets are designed, tooled up, and produced using SFP (“Surface Forming Process” developed by Manfred Tupaj).
SFP offers minimum start-up cost for thermoplastic cabinets while providing injection-molding-like surface finish.

January 1974

ttv becomes exclusive German agent of the injection molding company HAWE, Kronach.

September 1973

Manfred Tupaj acquires silent partner’s interest in a fabricator of custom designed thermoformed plastics, located in Straßlach (Munich).
