Manfred Tupaj sells tkt and buys property in Geretsried. ttv abandons the premises shared with tkt, relocates to the acquired building, and rents extra office and storage space. Manufacturing capacity is considerably expanded.

ttv produces standard CRT bezels for mounting CRTs into front panels using SFP. This product line soon covers every CRT available simplifying flawless installation of CRTs into flat front panels. ttv successfully markets the bezels worldwide.

The first thermoplastic cabinets are designed, tooled up, and produced using SFP (“Surface Forming Process” developed by Manfred Tupaj). SFP offers minimum start-up cost for thermoplastic cabinets while providing injection-molding-like surface finish.
