POLYCARBONATE

Extruded, transparent plastic sheet, suited for building, construction, shop fitting, and transparent covers and windows of any kind. Due to POLYCARBONATE being extruded (as opposed to cast LUXACRYL^®), it only has reduced optical quality and transmission (approx. 88% compared to 92% for LUXACRYL).

Still, POLYCARBONATE is ideally suited for display windows whenever its higher temperature and impact resistance (nearly unbreakable) are required. Its excellent impact resistance makes POLYCARBONATE – also lminated with films or mineral glas – the ideal material for vandal-proof windows.

Color selection of stock material is limited due to minimum production quantities required for extrusion.
