GLASS

GLASS offers itself for display window application because of its excellent surface hardness with resulting high scratch and temperature resistance.
Its drawbacks compared to LUXACRYL, however, are considerably lower breaking strength (mainly splintering !), reduced optical quality, virtually no choice of color, weight, as well as costly machining of edges for shapes other than rectangles. Grinding is generally necessary to reduce risk of being cut by its sharp edges while handling.

Glare reduction can be achieved by etching. Optical anti-reflective and conductive coatings can be applied like on LUXACRYL.

GLASS
Clear glass, available in different thicknesses, is the most simple, glossy, most inexpensive window for displays

FLOATGLASS – L15
is GLASS with conductive coating on one surface (15Ω/□)

ANTIFLEX-G-GWxx
is GLASS with one side etched, non glare surface (gloss value from 60 to 100)

ANTIFLEX-G-GW80 / L15
is ANTIFLEX-G-GW80 with rear side conductive coating (15Ω/□)

ANTIFLEX-G-2MC
is GLASS with anti-reflective multicoating on both surfaces

ANTIFLEX-G-2MC / L15
is GLASS with anti-reflective multicoating on both surfaces plus conductive coating on on surface (15Ω/□)
