In July 2015 the GreenTeam with their 22-year-old driver Prisca Schmid broke the world record in acceleration for electric vehicles. It took her only 1.779 seconds in the team’s current racing car E0711-5 to push the electric race car from 0 to 100 km/h. Even a formula 1 cannot do the sprint in less than 2.5 seconds !
