Displays require windows not only to avoid any kind of mechanical damage, but also as UV protection and protection against smudge or any aggressive chemical substances. Windows have to provide increased readability, glare reduction and contrast enhancement depending on specific applications. Optimizing window color for a specified display will further improve contrast and readability. Shielding windows have to be mounted into display openings of enclosures to provide EMI/RFI protection.
ttv‘s ready to install windows in plastic (precision cast acrylic or polycarbonate) or glass meet all of these requirements.
