Displays require windows not only to avoid any kind of mechanical damage, but also as UV protection and protection against smudge or any aggressive chemical substances. Windows have to provide increased readability, glare reduction and contrast enhancement depending on specific applications. Optimizing window color for a specified display will further improve contrast and readability. Shielding windows have to be mounted into display openings of enclosures to provide EMI/RFI protection.

ttv‘s ready to install windows in plastic (precision cast acrylic or polycarbonate) or glass meet all of these requirements.

2-part front panel with maximum glare reduction, extreme complexity of high detail silk screening and self-adhesive backside coating for top quality nostalgic car radio

Material:

ANTIFLEX®-AR3/2MC-AFP clear 1000 especially produced in thickness 2.5 mm for center panel. ANTIFLEX®-2MC-AFP clear 1000 for cassette panel with self-adhesive backside coating

Service ttv:

  • Consulting service in material selection, development of special paints and colors including feasibility study of screen print details
  • Production of the front panels with multiple light tight 5-color screen printing including special paint for brightness sensor on center panel and 3-color printing plus backside silk screened adhesive under silicone paper cover

a) Top quality finish with maximum glare reduction, increased readability, as well as silk screening and self-adhesive gasket (see picture on right)

Project:
Windows for sensors, laser scanners and barcode readers

Material:
ttv produces a huge variety of customer specific windows for sensors, laser scanners, bar code readers and light grids. The materials applied are mainly:

  • ANTIFLEX®-2MC-AFP (clear and red tints) for top quality scanner windows with maximum transmission and lowest possible reflexion
  • LUXACRYL®-IR black 1698 for infrared applications (wave length range 800 to 1100 nm) of any kind
  • LUXACRYL® recommended for more basic applications such as LED, available unparalleled tint and thickness variety ex stock – see STOCK LIST

Service ttv:
ttv does not only supply the proper material for each application, but also offers high precision machining, processing, and finishing to customers’ drawings, if required ready for installation including printing, self adhesive gasket or coating.
